HUMSA or Herat University Medical Students’ Association (also known as the Committee) is the official, independent & non-profit society of medical students, aiming to promote academic excellence, professional development, and community engagement.
This society operates under the supervision of the Cultural and Students’ Services Committee of the Herat Faculty of Medicine, Herat University.

Masoud Faizi
President
As President, he leads the Association, oversees all activities, ensures smooth coordination among committees, and promotes academic growth, professionalism, and student engagement.
Ahmad Shahab Zalal
Vice President
As the vice president of the Association, he manages overall activities and leads the Scientific Research Committee, guiding research initiatives and promoting academic engagement among students.
Mojeeburrahman Haqshanas
Secretery
As Secretary, he manages the Association’s records, coordinates communication among members, organizes meetings and events, and supports the leadership team in implementing activities efficiently.
Najibullah Ataei
Finance Officer
As Finance Officer, he manages the Association’s funds, oversees budgeting and expenditures, and ensures transparent and responsible financial operations.
